Peperoni Salami & Sweet Corn Fritters

  • 1 Packet Hans Sliced Peperoni – cut into 1cm squares
  • 420g Can Sweet Corn Kernels
  • ¾ cup plain flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • Sea salt
  • Vegetable oil
  • Sweet chilli sauce - to serve


  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, milk, egg and Tabasco sauce into a smooth batter

  2. Add sweet corn kernels, Hans Sliced Peperoni and a generous pinch of salt

  3. Heat 1cm vegetable oil in a heavy based frying pan

  4. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into oil and fry each side until golden brown

  5. Drain on paper towel and serve with sweet chilli sauce
