How to make a Charcuterie Chalet

Ingredients

  • 2 square loaves of bread

  • 600g cream cheese (room temperature)

  • Hans Italian Style Platter Pack (or Hans Prosciutto slices & Salami)

  • Hans Twiggy Sticks

  • Hans 200g Salami Knob

  • Crostini or Grissini bread sticks

  • Crostini or Grissini bread sticks

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Rosemary & Candy Canes to decorate

Instructions

1. Add cream cheese, salt & pepper to a bowl and mix lightly, leave to warm to room temperature.

2. Use the first loaf of bread to form the walls. Cut door and window shapes into one of the long slices.

3. For the roof, cut the second loaf of bread in half diagonally, then hollow it out. Place them on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.

4. Generously spread cream cheese on external-facing walls and roof so they’ll stick. Assemble and secure with toothpicks if needed.

5. Use a Hans Twiggy stick on the roof to form a chimney, and place halved slices on the roof as tiles.

6. Place crostini sticks as woodwork and arrange twiggy sticks as the door frame.

7. Cover the side walls with Hans Prosciutto as wooden logs.

8. Use salami slices to form a walking path then decorate with rosemary trees, salami and olive flowers and a mozzarella snowman.

There you have it! Your very own Charcuterie Chalet!
