Peperoni Salami & Sweet Corn Fritters
Ingredients
1 pack Hans Sliced Peperoni - cut into 1cm squares 420g tin sweet corn kernels ¾ cup plain flour 1 tsp baking powder ½ cup milk 1 egg 1 tsp Tabasco sauce Sea salt Vegetable oil Sweet chilli sauce - to serve
Method
- Whisk flour, baking powder, milk, egg and Tabasco sauce into a smooth batter
- Add sweet corn kernels, Hans Sliced Peperoni and a generous pinch of salt
- Heat 1cm vegetable oil in a heavy based frying pan
- Drop small spoonfuls of batter into oil and fry each side until golden brown
- Drain on paper towel and serve with sweet chilli sauce
