Strassburg Lasagne
Ingredients

1 cup tomato pasta sauce
8 sheets Lasagne pasta, instant
150g Hans 97% Fat Free Strassburg
1 pack frozen spinach (approx 250g)
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp flour, plain
1 cup milk, reduced fat
¼ cup cheese, reduced fat, grated
¼ cup cheese, parmesan, reduced fat, grated
Garden salad and crusty bread to accompany

Method
  • Place a thin layer of pasta sauce in baking dish to prevent sticking. Layer lasagne pasta, pasta sauce, Hans Strassburg slices and spinach for 3 layers
  • Make cheese sauce by melting margarine in saucepan. Then stir in flour and cook gently for 2 minutes
  • Stir in half of milk, adding more as the sauce thickens. Stir in grated cheese and continue stirring until sauce comes to the boil
  • Pour sauce over lasagne and top with grated parmesan cheese
  • Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes and serve with salad and crusty bread
